Sudan’s civil war, now in its third year, has torn the country apart. The Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF), backed by foreign powers and supported by their respective allied militias, have devastated towns and cities with impunity, waging war on civilians and plunging the country into the world’s worst civilian protection and humanitarian crisis.
